England Cricket Tour India 2006
The mystique and magic of India's ancient civilization are yours to
experience with Sunsport this winter. We will be offering a range
of tours which will capture the essence of this fascinating country
with the opportunity to see England's cricketers in action in India
for the first time since 2001. The wonders of India are too great
to explore in just a few weeks but we will endeavour to show you a
few of its stunning highlights, combined with some fantastic Test
match cricket and some truly outstanding hotels.
Home to one of the world's oldest civilizations and several of the
world's great religions, India has been changing and re-shaping itself
for as long as anywhere on earth. The land where Buddha was born and
taught, and where the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal,
India has recreated itself as both a majority Hindu nation and the
planet's largest secular society - home to almost one thousand million
people. India is a land of challenging contrasts: of palaces and temples
and choking cities, of huge wealth and grinding poverty but, ultimately,
one which will captivate and enchant even the most hardened traveller.
